A super-senior Social Media Theory and Strategy major at Kutztown University, Emmeline Knowlan has been working in content creation and strategy for over five years. Knowlan is currently employed as a Social Specialist at The Social Station in Allentown, PA, and also has hands-on experience working with musicians to create engaging content for their fans.

After graduation I intend to pursue a Doctorate degree in a field related to digital media effects. My current plans include attending ESU’s Communications Master’s program, where I hope to gain both research and teaching experience. My top choice for Doctorate work is Drexel University’s Communication, Culture and Media program, where I intend to focus on parasocial relationships and how social media emphasizes that phenomenon.
